The structures above and below are where I believe the artillery used to be housed. We were quite disappointed that the guns have been removed. I do not have any idea why the two, which were similar in size, were sealed differently. The one below has been sealed with cinder blocks and cement, while the one above has been sealed with a 6 inch slab of concrete. Please note the hole towards the left side of the wall in the above picture, while there was a similar hole in the one below. I do not know why they are there, however from the rough appearance of both it appears that they were not meant to be there. They were just large enough though to stick my camera through and take a few pictures of the interiors of these structures. Also notice that on the wall above there is what appears to be a picture of perhaps a dolphin or a shark. I estimate that each of these structures were perhaps 30 to 40 feet high.
Below are the pictures of the interiors of the bunkers I took by sticking my hand and camera through the holes. Pictures 2 and 3 are of the same room. Notice that there is what appears to be another door inside that is seemingly also sealed off with concrete. I am not sure why they felt it was neccessary to do this, but from the holes I gather that perhaps it does make sense. It is my estimation that the holes were made by people coming to the base trying to get a look inside. The reason I believe this is that on other sealed bunker entrances there were gouges in the concrete, similar to what you would expect if someone were chipping away at the concrete, but just had not succeeded in penetrating through. There was even one case where there was a large gouge in the concrete with a large boulder  lying at the base of the door, as if someone were using the boulder to chisel the concrete. This is of course an assumption on my part, but it seems reasonable in the light of the fact that the holes were not smooth as they would be if machined. In pictures 4 and 5 there is clearly a door, which is not cemented with the number 8 spray painted on it. The 5th picture is a close up of some graffiti in picture 2. I have no clue what significance that symbol may have. As I understand it, the orbs in the photos are caused by out of focus dust particles.
This is an example of what the front or entrances to the bunkers looked like. This particular one was big enough to allow an 18 wheeler to enter.
